Welcome to the Tatters' Round Robin for Beginners!
The center motif pattern for this round robin may be tatted in two steps cutting and tying each round or climbing with a split ring from the inner six rings to the second round without cutting.

Round 1 Tat the six inner rings.
Option A: Tat all six rings then cut, tie and hide ends.
R 6 - 2 - 2 - 6 close ring.
Round 2 Attach the ball thread to the middle picot on any inner ring and begin to chain.

CH 3 - (very small picot) 4 Do not reverse work.
R 3 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 3 close ring. Do not reverse work.
CH 5 Do not reverse work.
R 3 + (join to last picot of previous ring) 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 3 close ring. Do not reverse work.
CH 5 Do not reverse work.
R 3 + 2 - 2 - 2 - 3 close ring. Do not reverse work.
CH 4 - (very small picot) 3
Shuttle join to the middle picot of the next inner ring.
Continue around joining the chains at the very small picot.
Finish off ends.
Option B: Wind two shuttles CTM. Tat five rings normally. R 6 - 2 - 2 - 6 close ring. Then tat the sixth ring as a split ring. Begin split ring with shuttle one (SH1) and tat the last part with shuttle two (SH2).
Split Ring SH1 6 - 2 / 2 - 6 close ring. Make mock picot see also Dani's graphic of mock picot)to climb out into the next round.

CH 3 - (very small picot) 4 Do not reverse work.
R 3 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 3 close ring. Do not reverse work.
CH 5 Do not reverse work.
R 3 + (join to last picot of previous ring) 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 3 close ring. Do not reverse work.
CH 5 Do not reverse work.
R 3 + 2 - 2 - 2 - 3 close ring. Do not reverse work.
CH 4 - (very small picot) 3
Shuttle lock join to the middle picot of the next inner ring.
Continue around joining the chains at the very small picot.
Finish off ends.
Suggestions:
Use a picot gauge to make the picots all the same size.
Insert a helping loop (Debbie Drke's method) to pull the last ends up into the ring/chain to hide. See alsoTammy's Magic Thread trick.
