Darlene Polachic's "Big Book of Tatting"!

Darlene's first book of tatting patterns has both a color cover and back and a four page center insert in color. There are photos on every page! There are 34 designs for edgings, doilies and collars plus smaller motifs for every season of the year. The designs are all in traditional tatting style and the instructions have no diagrams but are written in standard (3 ds picot) style.

I was most fascinated with the adaptation of an old-fashioned fan pattern into both a butterfly design and a Sunbonnet Sue! Two favorite patterns of Monica Hahn's (previously printed by House of White Birches) were also included.

This booklet is 8.5" x 11" with a paper cover. The tatting patterns require only basic tatting skills and are easily adaptable to either shuttle or needle tatting.
