This new book of tatted crosses from Julie Patterson of Australia has 30 pages of large photos, easy to read diagrams and step by step directions. There is a list of illustrated abbreviations and her diagrams and explanations of the split ring, split chain, and crossed, beaded picots are excellent.

I hope to see more designs from Julie very soon. I quite liked the pattern known as "Cris-Cros"which has interwoven picots in the center. Patterns for the beginner and the experienced tatter as well. Great work!
