Mrs. Fujito's second book of patterns is all tat and no talk! All the lace patterns have closeup full color photos and full size, easy to read, numbered diagrams. this petite booklet (8" x 5.5" or 20 x 14 cm) has traditional style doilies and motifs, side by side with whimsical flowers for 3-d bouquets.

This is the first book from Japan which I have seen use the pearl-tatted chain techniques (the Riego style tatting studied in class: Lily's Pincushion. The curly one-shuttle work edgings are familiar from antique books and would show to advantage in some of today's round robins.

Most fascinating are a series of diagrams showing some unusual joins and the encapsulation of picots!
