Adelheid Dangela
"Tatted Butterflies"

Adelheid Dangela is a long time member of the Deutschen Occhi-Ring (newsletter = Die Öse) and was a participant in "Tatting with Friends" (see pg. 44.) She also has a listing on the tatting reference list. Her lifelong fascination with butterflies has culminated in this collection of 20 tatted butterfly patterns.

There are butterflies with block tatting, with cluny leaves, with "Ruth Scharf" style leaf forms. There are ballerina butterflies dancing an aerial minuet with mignonette wings. And garden moths with "onion ring" wings. This new book will cause a "flutter" in the hearts of tatters!

Sample of pattern style.
Adelheid's work is to be found in many of the round robins coordinated by Maus. The sample shows the cover butterfly. Black & white photos, diagrams, 30 pages (8.5" x 5.5" or 20 x 14 cm.)
