Judith Connors' "An Illustrated Dictionary of Tatting"

The tatting community has long advocated the standardization of tatting terms. Judith Connors' new dictionary has taken the first major step forward since Vida Sunderman's self-published dictionary (1995.) With this basic reference tool, the standardization of tatting terms will become a reality very soon.

Although there will be many discussions on terms used in the coming years, this will only benefit all tatters everywhere. Historical terms are explained and ilustrated and the modern counterparts are listed. Past tatters who have greatly influenced the development of tatting are listed also.

From Anne Orr to "Z"-twisted threads, this is one book we all need to have in our reference library. I offer congratulations to Judith on an excellent job.
