Helen Chesno "Tatting with One Hand"

Helen Chesno's book for the physically handicapped is a valuable tool especially for tatting teachers. For students with damaged hands, this method makes it possible to tat again! Presented as a large booklet (8.5" x 11" or 21 x 27.5 cm) in black and white with 20 pages, the book includes basic tatting instructions illustrating how to manipulate the shuttle with one hand and a few aids.

Note: For those who recently printed off the series of patent articles on tatting, the one dealing with David F Randall's "Manufacture of Tatting and Device Therefor," (US00031624:look toward the bottom of the page for link.), Helen's book will give great insight into how this tatting device functioned.

Sample of pattern style.
