Helen Chesno has just translated pages 172 - 187 of the antique German language handwork book,"Ich Kann Handarbeiten"1910, reprinted 1995 as "Handarbeiten wie zu Großmutters Zeiten" (see cover.) Presented as a small booklet (8.5" x 5.25" or 21 x 13 cm) in black and white with 34 pages, the book includes basic tatting instruction from one of Helen's previous books as well as the antique instructions. 22 patterns from the simplest ring and chain repeat to "onion ring" motifs!
