Hope Green Goes to the Fair!

Hope Green Attends the 50th Dade County Fair and Exposition in Hot Air Balloon!

Join Hope on her odyssey to the Fair!

It all started with shuttle, thread and beads!

The completed balloons lie deflated but eager to fly!

Balloons are inflated inside the tatting which has been dampened with stiffening agent. Each of the picots of flat items must be pinned open and excess liquid removed from the centers by blotting.

The baskets can be slipped over pill bottles and pinned out too.

The tatted balloons are flying high accompanied by bear guide at the helm!

Sparkling ribbon makes a lively waterfall!

Here Hope shows that the 50 was to be encircled by a round circle of the DMC gold metallic thread but the thread ran out. Adapt, adapt, adapt!
Great Work Hope! Congratulations on an award-winning project!
