A Study of Tatting as Combined with Hairpin Crochet Lace

Assorted hairpin looms and substitutes

Welcome to the Online Tatting Class study of tatting as combined with hairpin crochet lace. This lesson has been 'months' in the planning and we extend our thanks to everyone who helped to locate instructions, developed patterns, found supplies and explained the steps and shared their experiences with us. Thanks to Sue Hanson, Etta Liberi, Saundra Hammeed, Marcella Ouzts, Jeremy Earnest, Lenore English, Becky Robbins, Pat Stevens and many, many more for all their help and encouragement.

When this topic was first suggested by the class there was initial resistance to it. I admit I have never paid much attention to hairpin crochet at all. However, a round robin doily completed this summer caught my eye and I have been intrigued ever since. Just Look!
