Please note Sieglinde's abbreviations: CH = Chain RW = reverse work * = repeat - = picot (small picot) ---- = large picot + = join , = Shuttleknot (shuttle join) You need one shuttle and a ball or two shuttles Material Finka Nr.12 Perlkotton was used in the example Wire 0,40 mm (for the petals) and 2 mm (for the stem) Top and bottom petals worked 3 times. Top petal 1.ch 2-4-2 rw 2.ch 2,4,2,2-rw 3.ch 2,2,4,2,2-rw 4.ch 2,2,4,4,2-rw 5.ch 2,4,4,4,2,2-rw 6.ch 2,2,4,4,4,2,2-rw 7.ch 2,2,4,4,4,4,2-rw 8.ch 2,4,4,4,4,4,2,2-rw 9.ch 2,2,4,4,4,4,4,2-rw 10.ch 2,4,4,4,4,4,4,2,2-rw 11.ch 2,2,4,4,4,4,4,4,2,2-rw 12.ch 2,2,4,4,4,4,4,4,4-rw *13.ch 4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4-rw * 8 times then decrease as you work the chains in descending order; take 4 away at 1 side. DO NOT CUT THREAD Cut wire 3 times the length of the petal and work the wire around the petal to each row 1+1+ and then cut thread leaving a short piece at the ends (5-7cm) . Bottom petal worked 3 times. | 1.ch 4-4-4-2-rw 2.ch 2,4,4,4,2-rw 3.ch 2,4,4,4,2,2-rw 4.ch 2,2,4,4,4,2,2-rw 5.ch 2,2,4,4,4,4,2-rw 6.ch 2,4,4,4,4,4,2-rw 7.ch 2,4,4,4,4,4,2,2-rw 8.ch 2,2,4,4,4,4,4,2,2-rw 9.ch 2,2,4,4,4,4,4,4,2-rw 10.ch 2,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,2-rw 11.ch 2,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,2,2-rw 12.ch 2,2,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,2,2-rw 13.ch 2,2,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4-rw *14.ch 4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4,4-rw * 8-10 times and go backwards , you can even take 4 away at 1 side. DO NOT CUT THREAD Cut wire 3 times the length of the petal and work the wire around the petal to each row 1+1+ and then cut thread leaving a short piece (5-7cm)at the ends . DO NOT CUT THREAD Cut wire 3 times the length of the leaf and work the wire around the leaf to each row 1+1+ and then cut thread leaving short length (5-7cm).
