Onion Ring Snowflake (and Edging) Model by Wally Sosa

Original Pattern by Mrs. R. R. Richardson

This construction at first seems to be the onion ring join, in this case the effect is created by surrounding the inner ring with a chain. Using two shuttles allows the tiny rings to be thrown off from the chain.

Original directions.

Wally has prepared two diagrams and written up the directions for the online tatting class. Many thanks.
