Ruth Perry shares a pattern using the unusual ladder yarn available today in many colors. Although this is a shuttle pattern it can also be accomplished by needle tatters using the method of plying the needle as if it were a shuttle. Needle tatters should not panic :) You may use your regular tatting needle to wrap the half stitches.
