AnneB: I have done it a couple of times

AnneB: Sure - I might be able to help :-)
BahmaTerri: Is it just one long chain that you weave after you finish the chain or is the weaving part of the process?
AnneB: That depends on the pattern. I have seen both.
BahmaTerri: OK. Then I think I'll look for both and try it out to see how it works. It's pretty but I haven't tried it yet.

BahmaTerri: When you work on a large centerpiece, do you also do smaller motifs to take a break, or just keep working on it until you finish the large one?
AnneB: Yes - except that the row I'm working on now is several motifs
AnneB: For the one I'm working on now I have had such a momentum that I have just keept on tatting as there is a risk in taking a break
BahmaTerri: Wow! My hat's off to you for do large projects like that. I'm not quite ready for that yet.
AnneB: If you want to make something larger you could start with something made of several motifs. That way you can stop when you find it large enough.
AnneB: The one I'm tatting now "needs" all of the rows.
BahmaTerri: I've thought about doing it that way just haven't tried it yet.
BahmaTerri: Are you the tatter who creates all the fantastic dragons?
AnneB: Fist step: one motif. Second step: one motif in centre with six (or eight) around

AKTATTER: if the joining picots are ll the same size, in any piece of tatting, then the lace develops a natural curve
