Materials: For earrings: ¼ inch cabone rings (2) Earring finding (2) Size 80 tatting thread 1 shuttle CTM with ball For fan pull, zipper pull or matching necklace dangle: ¾ inch cabone ring Size 20 thread Split ring or jump ring to hang dangle from necklace so it will lay flat. If doing a pull you can just join the double picot to the chain. Note: This pattern can be worked with a shuttle and ball, CTM if you use the SLT where indicated. If you would prefer you can use 2 shuttles and omit the SLT.

Round 1 (for this round the chain stitches are formed over the cabone ring)
Chain: 3
Ring: 4 - 4 - 4 - 4
*Chain: 3
Ring: 4 + 4 - 4 - 4
Repeat from * until a total of 5 rings have been made
Chain: 3
Ring 4 + 4 - 8
Chain 12 -- 1 + (join previous picot over the earring finding) 12
Split ring: 8/4 + 4

Begin working chains back and forth:
Row 1: Chain 6 - 6 + 6 - 6 + 6 - 6 + 6 - 6 + 6 - 6 + 6, leave a bare thread space just shorter than 6 stitches will fit on, join to final ring on round 1. Work split chain of 6 stitches back to where other thread is waiting.

Reverse work, SLT
Repeat row 1 having 1 less chain 6 - 6 group each row until only 1 group remains.
Work split chain 6 / 6.
End with a split ring 8 / 8 to hide ends.
