AA= border/double chain (make knots alternating 1st shuttle and 2nd shuttle with 2nd shuttle and ball thread);

A part A
2 Shuttles:
R: 3-2-3-3-2-3, cl. RW
C: [5 -- four times]5, RW
R: 3-2-3+3-2-3, cl. RW
C: -- 5 five times, join RW
3 Shuttles (or 2 Shuttles and 1 Ball thread), 9 pearls:
AA: Make knots ALTERNATING 1st shuttle and 2nd shuttle WITH 2nd shuttle and ball thread. So:
Þ 10ds as usual, alternated with 8 border ds;
Þ (*) before joining long picot, insert the same long picot in a beard;
Þ 8ds as usual, alternated with 7 border ds (**);
Þ repeat from (*) to (**) other seven times;
Þ before joining the last long picot, insert the same long picot in a beard;
Þ 10ds as usual, alternated with 8 border ds; join, cut and tie.
NOTE: if inserting a pearl in a long picot is a problem, I have a "trick": I insert a little piece of nylon thread through the picot, then I insert its two ends through the pearl and so I have the picot inside the pearl to be joined with a crochet hook.
