The second way is to have your frame the size you want and add the pieces to cover the frame. making sure it is large enough to wrap around to the back of the frame. I cut the hankies to fit into my plan. Some of my hankie edges hang over to the inside rather than trimming and sewing them down. I wrapped everything to the back and actually I taped them down as this will never be laundered. They could also be glued down but do not glue until you have attached all of your bling. Using little motifs, edgings, mistakes, trials, butterflies hearts, etc., attach these to the fabric using hidden stitches to hold in place. You can also do some embroidery on the seams.
The smaller frame I made is using the same method but I just made a long edging and attached it all the way around the inner edge. This can be used separately or as the inner frame in a larger frame. Very easy!!
