Sheila Heneise's Angel with Paisley Wings

Many thanks to Sheila Heneise in Chile for preparing this pattern for the online tatting class. Sheila writes that she has been tatting for about thirty years, but her tatting world until recently was been limited to old Workbaskets and the classic books of Anne Orr and Rita Weiss. When she finally discovered tatting online a few months ago, she was rather dismayed to find out how behind she was. She could not do a split ring, nor had Sheila heard of Celtic design. She says she has a lot of catching up to do. This is her first published pattern. Most of her work has taken the form of small gifts. She thinks she must have made a hundred cross bookmarks, and Sheila also enjoys small doilies and edgings. And best of all, Sheila adds that she has also enjoyed teaching tatting to anyone willing to learn.
