I attached the leaves to each other on the last two sets of chains, both on the 5 outer and 3 inner leaves. The three center leaves I just made a bit smaller by not making as many passes, gave them a nice curve when attached together. With yellow I made 7 rings with very small spaces between them there again I left a tail of about 2 Inches. I took all of the hanging ends pulled them together rather snugly and wrapped them tightly with another thread, could have used encapsulation here. Makes for a little stem but also makes them all gather a bit to make the poinsettia three dimensional instead of flat. I used Altin Basak thread in size 50.
