Abbreviations:
R: Ring
CH: Chain

SCH: Split Chain
TOR: Thrown-off Ring ( and/or Thrown-off Ring)


Instructions:

Fill 2 shuttles with 8 yds each in CTM.

Center Ring: 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5 - 5. CL. Make Mock Picot. RW.

First Round:
CH: 3. RW.
* R: 10 - 10. CL. RW.
CH: 3 + (to the next picot) 3. RW.

Repeat from * 4 more times.

SCH: 3 (joined to the base of the 1st CH).
SR: 10 / 10. CL. Mock Picot.

Second Round:
SR: 6 / 6. CL.
* CH: 5.
TOR: 3 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 3. CL.
CH: 5. RW.
R: 6 + (to the same mock picot) 6. CL. RW.
CH: 10.
TOR: 5 - 5 - 5 - 5. CL.
SCMR: 5 + (to prev ring’s picot) 8 [leave ¼” of thread (R: 8. CL. X3) Create a single shuttle chain by turning back and wrapping the bare thread with 5 direct stitches] 8 - 5. CL.
TOR: 5 + 5 - 5 - 5. CL.
CH: 10. RW.
R: 6 + (to next picot). CL. RW.

Repeat from * around.
