48 Mill Hill Small Bugles

Put all the bugles on the same shuttle thread. If you don’t want to put all the bugles on at the same time then you can add them by round. The number of bugles used by round is noted at the beginning of the round.

Round 1: 16 Bugles
R 3—3—3—3 cl. Slip Bugle. RW
*R 5—3—3—5 cl. Slip Bugle. RW
R 3 + (to previous ring) 3—3—3 cl. Slip Bugle. RW
Repeat from * until you have 8 rings.
Join last picot to the picot of the 1st ring.
Cut and Tie.

Round 2: 32 Bugles
*R 2—2—2—2—2—2—2—2—2—2—2 cl. Slip Bugle. RW
R 2—2—2—2 cl. RW
R 2—2—2—2 cl. Slip Bugle. RW
Join to middle picot of outer ring on 1st round. Slip Bugle.
R 2—2—2—2 cl. RW.
R 2—2—2—2 cl. Slip Bugle. RW
Repeat from * around.
Finish with slipping bugle and tie to the base of the 1st ring. Cut and Tie.

NOTE: You will need to starch heavily so the snowflake will keep its form.
