Celtic Design Contest #11 Voted Best Celtic Design

Many thanks to Mary Maynard for suggesting and coordinating the celtic design contest. Also, a great big nod of appreciation to Sabina Madden for teaching me how to write the syntax for these neat tables with captions and photos links!

The original contest rules and the basic pattern were posted as guidelines. Although not all entries adhered strictly to the guidelines, all entries have been included in the contest. After all, stretching the boundaries of the art of tatting is what the online tatting class is all about! Many thanks to all who entered. For those who just dreamed...please don't hesitate to join us next time. We all learn as much from our mistakes as from the successes.

The backs of the scans have now been posted. Click on the contestant's name for the back view and click on the tiny photos to see a full size photo of the front of the lace. Patterns will soon be available. Contact Mary Maynard for details.
