B = bead SR = split ring Number = the number of DS done in repetition Materials: 3 5mm beads 180 regular size Mill Hill beads (or equivalent) - strung on shuttle thread only Model worked in size 12 thread |
Start with beading at center of bracelet. String the 5mm beads on a third shuttle.
R 15, small picot, 15, place first bead in center, close ring.
SR 15 / 15, place second bead in center
SR 15 / 15, place third bead in center
Tie off shuttle 3 thread and weave in ends.
For all other rings:
* SR (1, B) 5 times, 1 / (1, B) 5 times, 1, close ring
Repeat from * 9 times (or more for a larger bracelet or a necklace.) Tie off and cut ends long enough to secure around bracelet clasp. Weave ends into tatting.
For second side of bracelet, attach thread to small picot on same ring as first 5mm bead. Repeat from * the same number of times as first side. Tie off all ends and finish off.
